I met the owner of this property through my friend who lives next door to her. She asked me if I could help her design a simple shelter for her duplex townhomes back patio. This was during the height of the Covid pandemic, when we were all searching for ways to still be social with our friends and family, yet safely distanced from each other. I quickly put together the plans for this simple shelter, and the thing was built over two successive weekends. It was completed in mid winter of 2021.
